Cosmetic Services

Porcelain Veneers: Veneers are custom, porcelain facings that are bonded to the front surfaces of your teeth. They are made to match the shape and size of your mouth at a desired shade.

Teeth Whitening (ZOOM Whitening): is a professional teeth whitening brand that allows your teeth to be whitened in just one office visit.

Bonding: Bonding is a one visit application of a tooth-colored composite resin to repair a decayed, chipped, fractured or discolored tooth. It is used in esthetic areas to create beautiful smiles.

Recontouring of Natural Teeth: Recontouring of teeth can correct minor dental imperfections for the esthetic or functionality purpose of your teeth.

Preventative Services

Children’s Dentistry: It is important to establish a good foundation for your child’s dental needs early on. We recommend that parents schedule their child’s first dental visit before their first birthday, or within six months after the first tooth erupts. Our dental team is there to help maintain the oral health of your child and to provide resources for parents. When the children are older, we perform dental cleanings and screen for issues that may cause orthodontic problems later on. During these formative years, it is critical for children to develop a positive relationship with their dentist and dental hygiene team.

Dental Hygiene & Cleaning: Preventative maintenance of the teeth and gums are essential for your smile to stay healthy and last a long time. Scaling, root planing and polishing are procedures done on a regular basis to remove plaque and tartar to control or prevent gum disease.

Regular Checkups: Regular dental exams are the best way to evaluate your gums, teeth and oral health. The dental exam allows your dentist to diagnose any problems, conduct an oral cancer screen and to take preventive action to stop problems before they start.

Dental Sealants: A dental sealant is a protective material used to cover tiny grooves on the biting surfaces of teeth. Often, bacteria can become lodged inside the tiny grooves and cause cavities if left untreated.

Night Guards (Mouth Guard/Splint): A night guard is an appliance that helps protect your teeth and jaws from clenching and grinding during sleep.

Sports Guards: A custom made appliance made to protect your teeth while playing sports.

Orthodontic Services

Invisalign (Clear Aligner Therapy): Invisalign creates custom fitted removable trays which are changed about every two weeks, progressively straightening, aligning and improving your smile. The Invisalign Aligners are clear and virtually unnoticeable to those around you.

Braces: Orthodontic braces are devices used to help straighten and align teeth to improve the appearance of teeth and ones bite.

Myobrace: Myobrace is a preventive pre-orthodontic treatment that focuses on addressing the underlying causes of crooked teeth. Sometimes Myobrace treatment may prevent the need for braces, allowing for natural growth and development.

Orthodontic Appliances: In some cases, dentist can use appliances to correct orthodontic problems early on. These appliances can make teeth and bone in a better position or correct underdeveloped jaws and widen narrow arches.

Myofunctional Therapy: This is a form of treatment that addresses improper tongue and muscle movements in the mouth. This may include, but is not limited to tongue thrusting and thumb sucking. A Myofunctional Therapist will assess and prescribe exercises to help retrain the tongue and muscles of the mouth to rest in a proper resting position.

Restorative Services

Composite Fillings (Tooth Colored Fillings): Composite fillings are tooth colored material used to fill cavities in order to avoid further decay and restore proper shape and function to each tooth.

Crowns: A crown is a covering that sits over the top of the tooth creating a tooth surface to protect, cover, seal and strengthen your tooth.

Inlays & Onlays: Inlays and Onlays are an indirect restoration consisting of a solid substance usually gold or porcelain fitted to a cavity in a tooth and cemented into place.

Bridges: Dental bridges are fixed dental appliance which are anchored onto neighbouring teeth in order to replace one or more missing teeth. The false tooth is known as a pontic and is fused in between two crowns that serve as retainers by attaching to the teeth on each side of the false tooth, thereby bridging them together.

Root Canals: A root canal is a procedure where the injured, infected or dead dental pulp (nerve or blood vessels) are removed and cleaned. The canals are then filled and sealed off. The tooth is then restored with a filling, and followed by a crown.

Partial Dentures: These are removable dental appliances that have one or more artificial teeth to help with aesthetics or functionality.

Implants: When teeth are missing, it may be possible to replace the teeth with a dental implant. A medical grade fixture is placed into the bone. An implant crown is placed on top which will help restore the function and esthetics of the natural tooth.

Sleep Apnea Treatment

Sleep Apnea Treatment (Snore Guard): Oral Appliance Therapy is an option for treatment in some Obstructive Sleep Apnea cases. Your dentist at Brilliance Dental may be able to provide you with a removable device that is worn for bedtime to help in treatment.

Emergency Dental and Treatment

Emergency Dental and Treatment: Although most dental emergencies involve pain, sometimes broken teeth or lost fillings can constitute as an emergency. Often the teeth need to be examined by a dentist to prevent further pain and damage. If left untreated, often these dental problems can lead to severe complications.
