As of  May 14, 2020, Alberta Dentists were allowed to reopen and provide a full provision of dental services.  The team at Brilliance Dental have been excited to return to delivering dental care for all of our patients.  We continue to adhere to strict and extensive sterilization protocols for your safety and comfort.

What are the changes we have implemented for your safety?

  • Enhanced patient protection measures: All our team members are screened for COVID- 19 symptoms and risk factors and regular temperature checks are conducted daily. We follow the AHS guidelines for healthcare workers.  Each member has upgraded PPE (personal protective equipment) for every appointment.

  • Patient pre-screening: We pre-screen patients in advance over the phone for COVID-19 symptoms and risk factors.  A second patient screening will be done upon entry into the clinic and temperatures are taken prior to your appointment.  The screening form can be reviewed at https://www.dentalhealthalberta.ca/wp-content/uploads/2020/05/Patient-Consent-Form-COVID-19_6.30.2020.docx

  • To continue with social distancing and to minimize the numbers of people in the clinic, we ask that you give us a call at (780)483-5800 upon your arrival.  We will ask you to enter when our team is ready to bring you back to the treatment area.

  • We ask that only the patient come in for their appointment. In the case of a minor, one parent or guardian may escort their child. Be aware both will be subject to the full check-in protocol.

  • Sanitation stations are set up and we ask that our patients hand sanitize prior to entering the treatment area.

  • Face masks are required for anyone entering the clinic.

  • Between patient visits, we clean, disinfect and sterilize rooms, instruments and all surfaces in our procedure rooms and operatories. Protective barriers are used throughout the treatment area.

  • HEPA (high efficiency particulate air) filters have been placed in every operatory and in common areas of the dental clinic

  • In all common areas we continually disinfect all surfaces regularly throughout the day

5 star review  I have loved this place since beginning to go ears ago. Best dentists, dental assistants and ladies working at the desks. I always feel comfortable and welcome when I visit, and I normally hate the dentist. I have always had Dr. Mak, she is amazing, patient and gentle so when I had a new dentist that was going to be working on me, I was nervous. But Dr. Sissons was just as great and wonderful. Thanks ladies
